About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a full-time Production Machine Operator (1st Shift) for a busy manufacturing facility in Maryland Heights, MO (63146).

In this hands-on role, you will work in the rewinding department converting large rolls of labels into smaller, customer-specified rolls using specialized machinery. Fully paid training is provided to teach you the specific rewind machine operations. What You Will Do

Machine Operation: Setup and operate rewind machinery to convert large label rolls into smaller finished quantities per customer orders.
Material Handling: Move materials and staged pallets across the shop floor using a manual pallet jack.
Packing & Stacking: Carefully stack finished label rolls, package orders, and wrap pallets securely for dispatch.
Quality Inspection: Monitor machine output for defects, print quality, and accurate roll counts.
Workstation Safety: Keep equipment clean, maintain an organized work area, and follow all facility safety protocols.

What You Need

Experience: Prior machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment is required.
Equipment & PPE: Experience operating a manual pallet jack. Steel-toed boots are required.
Work History: Strong track record of job stability and consistent performance in past roles.
Reliability: Exceptional attendance, daily punctuality, and reliable transportation to Maryland Heights, MO 63146.
Screening: Willingness to complete standard pre-employment background checks and screenings.
