Intern – Finance Teknor Apex – Location: 505 Central Ave., Pawtucket, RI02861, USA. Hybrid – Full‑Time – Posted: May 27, 2026. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Co‑op candidate for our Corporate FP&A team. The role focuses on corporate financial planning and analysis in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will work on projects that develop technical and soft skills, support decision making, and gain industry experience in plastics manufacturing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Help track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), comparing actual performance to budgeted or forecasted results. Develop, maintain, and enhance PowerBI dashboards to visualize financial data, track business performance, and improve reporting efficiency. Perform routine and ad‑hoc analyses to support business strategies and operational initiatives. Provide analytical support for benchmarking performance, taking into consideration key industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant economic factors. Support the team with other financial tasks, such as data reconciliation, presentations, and process improvements. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements Current junior or senior in a bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of the FP&A team. Collaborative team player. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; advanced functions preferred. Experience or coursework in Power BI or another data‑visualization platform preferred. Experience with financial reporting tools, ERP systems, or data‑visualization platforms preferred.
