Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. Your expertise will support our organization’s financial health by handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, reconciling accounts, and preparing essential financial reports. Responsibilities Maintain and update the general ledger using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Yardi, Sage, or similar platforms. Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all financial accounts. Record journal entries accurately, including debits & credits. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently to support cash flow management. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting to verify the integrity of financial data. Prepare detailed financial reports, including financial statement writing and account analysis for internal review. Support budgeting efforts by providing accurate data for financial planning and analysis. Execute double entry bookkeeping procedures with precision to maintain reliable financial records. Qualifications Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting. Familiarity with technical accounting concepts including journal entries, account analysis, and double entry bookkeeping. Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax-related activities. Excellent knowledge of financial concepts such as debits & credits, financial report writing, and budgeting processes. Proficiency in 10-key typing for efficient data entry and account management. Ability to perform detailed account analysis and general ledger reconciliation accurately. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
