Accounting Clerk

Pay: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour About the Role Seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in West Warwick, RI. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity ideal for a professional who enjoys a mix of manufacturing and property management accounting. You will support the department by maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and assisting with essential financial closings. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Process and record financial transactions accurately, such as invoices, receipts, and expense vouchers. Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly to ensure financial accuracy. Prepare essential financial reports and statements in compliance with standard accounting principles. Assist the Controller and senior accounting staff with audits, month-end, and year-end closings. Manage documentation and supporting schedules for commercial rental property tenants, including lease agreements. Required Qualifications Associate’s degree in Accounting OR equivalent professional experience in a similar role. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills. High level of attention to detail and strong mathematical aptitude for accurate recordkeeping. Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts, identify errors, and produce organized reports. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with Visual ERP systems. Familiarity with Buildium or other property management software. Experience working within a manufacturing environment. Apply to this great opportunity today!
