Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, supporting month-end close, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and assisting with audit processes.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries to support month-end and year-end close
  
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  
• Manage cash application and ensure accurate posting of customer payments
  
• Process and review employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance
  
• Assist with internal and external audit requests, including preparing supporting documentation
  
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting schedules
  
• Support inventory and cost accounting processes related to manufacturing operations
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
  
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and recommend process improvements
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
  
• Strong understanding of GL accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
  
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
  
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
  
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Pay Details: $33.00 to $38.00 per hour
