Post Processing Technician

Role Overview Beehive Industries is searching for a qualified candidate to fill an open position for Post Processing Operator. This position is a manufacturing operator position intended for a self-driven professional looking to expand their abilities. Responsibilities Perform support removal, surface finishing, and dimensional checks of metal parts Operate post-processing equipment including bandsaws, EDMs, and hand tools Conduct visual inspections and follow quality control procedures Communicate necessary tools and consumable items for day to day operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of post-processing work areas Document work performed and report part non-conformances Follow safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement efforts Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or hands‑on technical role Familiarity with MES systems and other computer based systems (Microsoft office, SmartSheets, etc.) Comfort using hand tools and basic measurement devices (calipers, micrometers) Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and work instructions Willingness to wear required PPE including respirators, gloves, and protective clothing Ability to work overtime or shift schedules as required by production demands Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to maintain compliance with aerospace quality and safety standards Security Clearance The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Nice to Have Previous manufacturing, machining, or production experience High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or hands‑on technical role Familiarity with MES systems and other computer based systems (Microsoft office, SmartSheets, etc.) Comfort using hand tools and basic measurement devices (calipers, micrometers) Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and work instructions Physical Requirements Remain in a standing or sitting stationary position for 3-4 hours per day (1-2 hours at one time). Move about 3-4 hours per day (1-2 hours at one time). Frequently lift or carry objects between 26 – 45 pounds. Frequently push or pull objects between 26-45 pounds. Frequently reach at or below shoulder level, and occasionally reach overhead. Frequently use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally bend, stoop, or twist.
