In this role, you’ll ensure high-quality service during meals, maintain a clean and safe dining environment, and support a team that creates a pleasant and engaging atmosphere. You’ll interact directly with residents, families, and coworkers, helping to foster a welcoming and positive community.What You’ll DoDeliver excellent customer service and ensure residents’ dining preferences and dietary needs are metCirculate in the dining room to assess satisfaction and address concerns promptlyMaintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipmentFollow safe work practices and support team compliance with Safety Committee standardsAssist coworkers beyond assigned duties to ensure smooth service and a positive team environmentReport any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policyPerform other duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredExperience in food service preferredCurrent ServSafe Certification requiredAbility to obtain/hold any local, state, or county food handling/sanitation licenses as requiredMust be 18 years or older, pass health screenings, TB clearance, fingerprinting, and background checksFirst Aid certification requiredCompassion for and desire to work with the elderlyStrong communication and organizational skillsPleasant, professional, and personable demeanorAbility to work independently, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressureJoin Milestone to create exceptional dining experiences, support a collaborative team, and positively impact the lives of our residents every day.Milestone is an equal opportunity employer.
