Lead Project Engineer

As a Lead Project Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination. Responsibilities Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery Provide technical guidance and support to project team members Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, engineering, technology, mathematics 8+ years of experience in project engineering (or similar role) for programs/projects involving software & electronic products in the areas of optics, RF, and/or robotics Willingness to dig into the technical details, learn whatever is needed to be successful, and take ownership and demonstrate accountability for the programs/projects under your control Strong leadership and project management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Experience in risk management and problem-solving Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
