TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Portland, Oregon, 97213!

Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour or Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required Must-Have: - Experience with Epic charting system - Ability to float between units as needed - Must have a vehicle for this assignment Description: The ER Registered Nurse will float between units to meet department needs. Weekends are required, at least every other weekend. Block schedules are not required. The expected patient ratio is 1:4. Special requirements include ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Experience with emergency care procedures and protocols is essential. Candidates with experience in both adult and pediatric emergencies are preferred. Flexibility in patient assignments based on workload intensity is required. The facility treats a diverse patient population and is not a designated trauma center. Candidates may encounter walk-in trauma patients. They must manage patients with various emergency conditions and situations. The role includes engaging with interdisciplinary support teams and utilizing various resources. The facility has a daily census of approximately 160 patients and handles a significant number of visits each day. Travelers must confirm their willingness to float between sister facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. The position offers opportunities for growth and potentially permanent placement.
