Overview
Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel) in Kansas City, KS. Start date 09/13/2026 for a 15-week temporary assignment. Weekly pay range $2,058 to $2,162. Shift: 3x12-hour Night shifts. This role involves working in a hospital setting with Telemetry patients while traveling between units as needed.

- Orientation and onboarding: Multi-day program including unit onboarding and electronic health record training

Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry and vital signs; interpret rhythm strips; promptly respond to alarming cues
- Administer medications and perform routine nursing procedures per plan of care
- Conduct patient assessments and document findings in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Provide patient and family education related to conditions, treatments, and safety
- Ensure safety and adherence to infection control, patient mobility, and discharge planning

Requirements
- Licenses and certifications: Active KS RN license; BLS
- Education: Associate degree in nursing
- Experience: 1+ year Telemetry nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Credentials: Credentialing and background processes to be completed within specified timelines
- Abilities: Must be able to float to other units as needed; available to work weekend shifts and night hours as scheduled
- Onboarding: Completion of credentialing tasks within stated deadlines; EPIC and unit-specific training as part of orientation
