RN/MS/TeleAverage daily census: 29 rooms/beds: 30 Years of experience required: 2 First-timers accepted: Yes, prefer travel experience Weekend requirement: 4-6 shifts every 6 weeks Certifications required: BLS Skills required: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Feeding tube care and management, Blood product administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin protocols, Manage cardiac drips- no titration, PCA, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Total joint replacements, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, High flow nasal cannula (HFNC), Nasal cannula, Oxygen administration, Tracheostomy care/management, Isolation precautions, Wound care/wound vac General intermediate population Sepsis / infection Wounds CHF cardiac arrhythmias AMI CVA / TIA Altered mental status ETOH withdrawal SI General post op Ortho Urology procedures GI bleed 18 PACU bays, 16 pre-op bays Monthly census of 450-550 surgical patients and 130-180 GI patients.
