Usher, Lincoln Theatre

Lincoln Theatre is seeking friendly and professional Ushers to serve as the primary point of contact for patrons once they enter the theatre. They act as hosts – providing direction to seats, answering questions, and facilitating conflict resolution. They work in conjunction with security staff and report to the house manager.RESPONSIBILITIESGreet patrons as they enter the venue; make them feel welcomeDirect patrons to seats for reserved seating showsAssist patrons in finding seats during general admission showsAssist patrons in need of accessible seatingAnswer or find the answer to any patron questionsAct as eyes and ears – report any concerns to security or managementEnforce house policies, such as photography restrictionsClean the theatre after performancesPerform some security functions as needed, such as controlling access to VIP seating areasProfessional, welcoming and friendly demeanorConfidence in interacting with the general public on a regular basisInterpersonal problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to listen attentively – both to instructions and to patrons’ needsAbility to remain focused during stretches of down timeWillingness to take on new tasks as directed #J-18808-Ljbffr ITS MY THEATRE LLC
