As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a residential community, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents, visitors, and staff while contributing to a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.05 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential common areas, streets, entry points, amenities, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or property concerns. Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with community policies and access-control procedures. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
