Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Every other weekend required | Travelers will work 2 of 3 major holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a patient load of approximately 5–6 ventilator patients and up to 35 treatments within a 12-hour shift
• Draw and analyze ABGs, administer respiratory treatments, and manage ventilator settings
• Provide care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients; NICU-trained therapists will attend all deliveries and C-sections
• Assist with intubation procedures using Glidescope and Glidescope-GO (independent intubation not required)
• May float to a freestanding ED location approximately 15 minutes from the main facility, where the RT may be the sole therapist on site
• Operate equipment including Avea and Hamilton C1 ventilators, V60 and EV300 BiPAP, Aerovo 2 HiFlow, and Zoll backup vents

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RRT license required — CRT not accepted
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP certification required for candidates with NICU experience who will be assigned to NICU duties
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NICU experience preferred; NICU-trained therapists will be cross-trained in the NICU and attend deliveries and C-sections
• Experience with high-acuity ventilator management across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
• Comfort working independently in a freestanding emergency department setting
