Job Description Business Development Manager (BDM) represents the Facial Aesthetics product portfolio to targeted aesthetic customers within a designated geographic area. The role is responsible for creating product acceptance and enhancing portfolio growth through business development activities. The BDM provides technical product and procedure expertise as well as competitive product differentiation. Assigned sales goals are obtained through creative, consultative selling and implementation of the U.S. Sales/Marketing plan. Responsibilities The Business Development Manager leverages resources to accelerate the adoption and sales growth of the Facial Aesthetics portfolio, which includes BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVEDERM® Collection of fillers, and Kybella® brands. The BDM synergistically works and coordinates activities with other Allergan Aesthetics cross‑portfolio partners and support teams, and complies with required reporting, requests, and compliance policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business‑related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required. Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience required, with B2B2C sales experience preferred. Experience and knowledge of general marketing principles and concepts within the healthcare environment; knowledge of the inner workings of a physician’s practice. Valid driver’s license. Strong business acumen and analytical skills; proven record of driving sales execution; effective consultative support; strong problem‑solving and resolution skills; ability to develop key strategies and execute. Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written; strong contract and negotiation skills; financial and budgetary experience. Ability to travel and be in the field four days a week. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software skills. Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements. This role is field‑based, and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Additional Information The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees. This job is eligible to participate in our short‑term incentive programs. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until it is earned, vested, and determinable.
