Med/Surg Tele RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension.

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN to join our team and provide quality patient care during the winter months. This role requires a valid Ohio license or a compact state license and aims to fill immediate staffing needs in our telemetry unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry environment.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure best practices in patient care.
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• Candidates must possess an active Ohio nursing license or a Compact State License.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Recent Epic charting experience (within the last 6 months) is required.
• One reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applied for is required.
