Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The RN will provide comprehensive care to patients in a telemetry unit, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical-surgical telemetry nursing and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver patient care with a focus on medical-surgical telemetry nursing.
Monitor vital signs and manage telemetry equipment.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create patient care plans.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
Active Ohio RN license or a Compact State RN license in hand at the time of submission.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
Candidates must be nicotine-free if not in exempt categories, with a negative drug screen required within 12 months of start.
