Occupational Therapist (OT) — Stockton, CA | 13-Week Contract OR Permanent
Location: Stockton, California (in-facility)
Job Types: 13-week contract (travel/local) or permanent (direct hire)
Start Date: ASAP (flexible)
Schedule: Full-time preferred (typical 8s/10s available)
Setting: Inpatient Rehab / Acute / SNF / Outpatient / Home Health (matched to your experience & preference)
We’re hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Stockton, CA and offering two paths in one posting :
13-week contract (ideal for travelers or local clinicians who want flexibility)
Permanent placement (stable role with growth potential)
Perform OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide interventions to improve ADLs, functional mobility, safety, and independence
Document evaluations, daily notes, progress, and discharge planning in the EMR
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, case management, PT/SLP, and caregivers
Educate patients/families on adaptive equipment, home safety, and functional strategies
Active California OT license (or ability to obtain quickly)
BLS (AHA preferred; setting-dependent)
1+ year OT experience preferred (new grads considered depending on setting)
Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
