Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical care and interventions to clients struggling with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders through virtual sessions and community-based interactions.

• Play an active role in multi-disciplinary team meetings to develop goals and strategies that enhance client care and create clear, integrated treatment plans.

• Conduct thorough, evidence-based assessments to identify individual client needs, formulate developmentally appropriate treatment plans, and conduct ongoing evaluations to monitor progress.

• Deliver a variety of therapeutic services including individual, group, and family therapy tailored to client needs while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

• Participate in crisis interventions as necessary, swiftly responding to urgent client needs and coordinating with other stakeholders to ensure safety and effective care.

• Maintain detailed case records, documenting the progress of clients' treatment and the effectiveness of the interventions employed.

• Engage in community outreach activities to promote mental health awareness and resource accessibility within underserved school populations.

• Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and community partners to foster a supportive network for client recovery.

• Adhere to ethical standards and comply with professional guidelines set forth by the LCSW license and the Health And Peace Center.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with children and adolescents facing significant emotional and psychological challenges. Our clients may experience a range of issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, behavioral problems, and other mental health conditions that interfere with their daily lives and academic performance. As a clinician, your role will be instrumental in providing the necessary support and interventions that empower these young individuals and their families to navigate their difficulties and achieve their goals.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.

• Current LCSW licensure in the state of Pennsylvania is mandatory.
