Senior Accountant Financial Reporting

We are representing a high-growth, public company that is actively seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting. As the Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting, you will support the company's financial reporting functions, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and other applicable regulatory standards. You’ll be a critical part of the financial reporting team and work cross-functionally with accounting, audit, and finance to support external reporting and internal process improvements. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post month-end journal entries and accruals with appropriate documentation Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses across multiple entities Manage intercompany transactions and month-end balances across multiple entities Assist in the monthly close process and internal/external reporting Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Implement accounting procedures by analyzing current processes and recommending improvements Collaborate with finance, operations, and global teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting Support enhancements to accounting systems, ensuring alignment with GAAP and technical accounting standards Research and interpret financial data to answer accounting and financial questions, leveraging strong technical accounting skills and a deep understanding of GAAP Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting. CPA is a plus. 1–3+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience, ideally in a Big 4 public accounting firm (audit and/or accounting advisory background preferred). Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting for US & international subsidiaries is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain accounting concepts and interact with multiple stakeholders. Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
