In this role, you’ll utilize your expertise to support student development, working approximately 2-3 hours per day, two days each week. You will engage with educators, students, and families to empower students and help them succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications:

• Active New York Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in a K-12 school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Detail-oriented with a passion for student-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Deliver targeted interventions, supporting fine motor, sensory, and functional skills in the school setting
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure integrated support
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes according to regulations
• Contribute to IEP meetings and participate in ongoing professional development
