Small Business Banking Representative

About This Job The main purpose of this job is to assist specialists and internal partners across the market with calling activities, credit/portfolio requests, account management/maintenance, and community events. Essential Functions Contact customers to retain and expand relationships using consultative selling approach Execute credit/portfolio tasks as required, including contacting customers for updated financial information, loan agreement compliance, customer financial reporting, loan covenant/provision compliance administration, and submitting company and personal financial statements Facilitate loan closings for vehicle and equipment loans Facilitate the resolution of customer maintenance/management tasks within the market, engaging product experts as needed Participate in community and business functions/groups to ensure a positive image for the bank and establish Centers of Influence (COI’s) Review preliminary credit approval summaries Evaluate appraisal annual review requirements and coordinate service requests Support specialists with prospecting, cross‑selling, business development, and beginning to structure loans Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Intermediate loan documentation knowledge including best practices Basic credit analysis skills Strong customer service skills Motivated and organized self‑starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow aligned with our culture and core values Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 1+ year(s) banking/financial services experience required. Compensation Hourly: $30.55 - $40.85 (amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies).
