Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a lasting impact by supporting students with special needs as a Special Education Teacher in a school community near Florence, SC. Multiple contract positions are available for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, offering opportunities at various grade levels: Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School. You’ll work onsite in a collaborative educational environment for approximately 37.5 hours per week, with your assignment expected to begin in late July 2026 and conclude in early June 2027 (start date to be confirmed).

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, or High School special education
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and fellow staff members
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Design and adapt curriculum to support the unique strengths and needs of each student
• Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providers to support differentiated instruction
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records aligned with IEP goals
• Participate in team meetings and parent conferences
• Foster a safe, engaging learning environment for all students
