Industrial Lift Truck Service Technician
At The Forklift Pro, your weekdays are hands-on and high-impact. You’ll start each morning prioritizing service tickets, then roll up your sleeves to diagnose and repair a mix of LP, diesel, and electric forklifts—plus related industrial equipment. Some days lean heavy on preventive maintenance; others call for in-depth troubleshooting, cosmetic touch-ups, or a quick reorg of the shop to keep everything humming. When needs shift, you’ll jump in where the Service Manager points you—because that’s how the best teams operate.
What your day looks like- Pinpoint issues fast using diagnostics on LP, diesel, and electric lift trucks.
- Perform scheduled PM services to keep fleets operating at peak reliability.
- Complete cosmetic repairs that restore equipment appearance and value.
- Keep the shop tidy, organized, and safe for everyone.
- Tackle additional tasks as assigned by the Service Manager.
- Real-world experience fixing LP, diesel, or electric-powered vehicles/equipment.
- Solid understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and follow work orders accurately.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Comfort using basic computer applications for service documentation.
- Hands-on experience operating lift trucks and other industrial equipment.
- Bonus: you can interpret wiring schematics.
- Sound reasoning skills and the discipline to work effectively without supervision.
- Bring your own tools and steel-toe safety shoes; both are required.
- Valid driver’s license required for consideration.
Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed when business demands it.
