Microbiology Lab Technician Responsibilities:

• Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished product
• Conduct ongoing microbial testing of USP water system
• Provide support for release testing of media and organisms for use in the lab
• Provide input for writing and revising laboratory guidelines and SOPs
• Provide support for environmental monitoring programs
• Perform data generation/trending and calibration procedures
• Keep the micro laboratory environment and activities in compliance to cGMP, also maintaining accurate records per cGMP
• Apply skills in scientific techniques and principles, problem solving, organization of work and cost savings
• Comply with procedural guidelines, laboratory procedures and safety procedures

Requirements for Microbiology Lab Technician:

• Bachelor's degree in in Microbiology/Chemistry or related sciences knowledge
• SAP experience desired
