Intellectual Property Litigation ParalegalOur client is seeking an experienced intellectual property litigation paralegal to join its trial and appellate practice group in the Washington, D.C. area. This hybrid position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with significant litigation experience who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. The role provides comprehensive support throughout all phases of IP litigation, including maintaining case files, monitoring litigation deadlines, managing court calendars, preparing and filing pleadings, motions, briefs, and appellate documents, and assisting with fact and expert discovery. Responsibilities also include conducting legal and factual research, managing document review and production using e-discovery platforms, preparing materials for depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations, attending court and agency proceedings, and mentoring junior paralegals as needed.Qualified candidates should have at least seven years of litigation paralegal experience, including experience with IP litigation in district court, the federal circuit, and/or the international trade commission. Familiarity with federal court rules, e-filing systems, e-discovery platforms such as Relativity, and legal research tools including Lexis, Westlaw, PACER, and USPTO databases is required. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, travel for trial as needed, and work overtime when necessary. A bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate is preferred. The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
