Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting clerk to support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general administrative accounting tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate entry into the system
• Assist with accounts receivable functions, including applying payments and tracking outstanding balances
• Perform data entry of financial transactions and maintain accurate records
• Support bank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with journal entries and general ledger updates
• Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems
• Support month-end close activities as needed
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing or payment issues
• Assist with audits by gathering and organizing supporting documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
• 13 years of experience in an accounting or clerical role
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
