Position Overview The Senior Business Architect works with Global Valuation in designing and implementing end‑to‑end operating model delivering value aligned with corporate strategies, collaborates cross‑functionally across Valuation, Operations, Finance, IT, Admin, to define standards and enable advancement and integration of RGA processes and systems, ensures data integrity and processes within the Valuation platform and with areas outside Valuation, and minimize disruptions to the actuarial reporting process. Responsibilities Implement change initiatives that are prioritized according to the business strategies. Deliver enhanced business values through an effective stakeholder engagement and organizational change management. Engages with project managers, business analysts, users, designers and developers to further understand the system and/or resolve system gaps. Work with Valuation associates globally to support the adoption of enhanced business processes, system capabilities and providing business support. Develop advanced understanding of RGA’s Valuation processes, data, and systems within and outside Valuation and ensure the end‑to‑end integration. Partnering with quality assurance team to develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure system functionality. Actively lead the cross‑functional efforts and provide constructive feedback to ensure that the management strategies are properly incorporated into the overall architecture. Engage IT resources to ensure business requirements are met and implement the proper technical solutions aligned with the business strategies. Provides guidance and assistance to Business Architects Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent related work experience required. 5+ Years technology related experience, such as Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Data Analysis, technology solution design/development. Advanced SQL skills and intermediate Excel, Word. Advanced verbal and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart domain knowledge and complex information. Advanced ability to collaborate and liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines. Advanced level of skills in customer relationship management and change management. Advanced negotiating and persuasion skills. Advanced level of investigative, analytical, and problem solving skills. Advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into implementable specifications and support the implementation of technical and business solutions. Advanced ability to recognize and articulate the process improvement opportunities and the capability gaps. Advanced ability to set goals and manage multiple assigned tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously; Ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Advanced data analysis skills. Ability to quickly adapt to new methods. Ability to work under tight deadlines and demanding conditions. Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in department/team projects. Ability to resolve conflict and foster teamwork. Hands‑on knowledge of program management and software development lifecycle and methodologies. Agile framework experience. Compensation Range: $89,310.00 - $134,870.00 Annual. Base pay varies depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long‑term equity incentive plan.
