FT Landscaping Technician

What you get to do as a Full-Time Horticulture Technician at Busch Gardens Williamsburg:You’ll help grow and maintain our beautiful park grounds. This involves performing a variety of ground maintenance duties, including mowing, trimming, watering, weeding, planting, pruning, and container maintenance. You will also:Maintain cleanliness and quality of work areaMaintain accurate records of activities performedWork through any weather condition, except lightningPractices safe work habits, including the use of personal protective equipmentProvide excellent service to guests and AmbassadorsOperate park vehiclesPerform other duties as assignedWhat it takes to succeed:Basic plant or landscape knowledgeAt least 18 years oldValid driver’s license and ability to obtain a park driver’s *license preferredExcellent English communication skillsBasic operational knowledge of both power and hand toolsAbility to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 50 lbs.Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time in extreme weather conditionsScheduling flexibility-be able to work 6:00 AM to 2:30 PMAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamStrong multi-tasking abilitiesAbility to complete all legal, company and department training requirementsCompensation: 13.25 USD #J-18808-Ljbffr Entertainment Places
