• Maximum Census: 25 Patients
• Approximately 3-8 Admissions Per Shift

• Provide Overnight Hospitalist Coverage
• Manage Admissions
• Provide Night Coverage for Admitted Patients
• Manage Patients in an Open ICU
• Provide Management of DKA
• Manage Atrial Fibrillation With Rapid Ventricular Response (AFib With RVR)
• Manage Ventilated Patients in Collaboration With Respiratory Therapy
• Must Be Comfortable Independently Managing Higher-Acuity Patients Without Tele-Intensivist Support

• Open ICU
• No Tele-Intensivist Available
• Respiratory Therapy Support for Ventilator Management
• Epic EMR

• Board Certified - Required
• At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Hospital Medicine - Required
• Active Maine Medical License - Required
• Epic Experience - Required
• COVID-19 Vaccination - Required
• Flu Vaccination - Required
• Provider Must Be Credentialed With the Presenting Agency
• Must Be Comfortable Managing an Open ICU
• Must Be Comfortable Managing DKA, AFib With RVR, and Ventilated Patients

• Full Presentation Required at Time of Name Clearance
• 2 Supervisor References From the Previous 12 Months - Required
• 1 Peer Reference From the Previous 12 Months - Required
• Epic Experience Must Be Confirmed at Time of Name Clearance
• Provider's Travel Origin Must Be Included
• Years of Locum Experience Must Be Included
