Motion Graphics & Finish Editor

We’re looking for a Motion Graphics & Finishing Editor who can take projects across the finish line – and make them unforgettable when they get there. This role sits at the intersection of design, storytelling, and technical precision. You’ll shape the final look, feel, and polish of our work. This is not an entry-level position – we’ll select the right person based on skillset, quality, and attitude. Please note: Motion design and animation is critical to this role. If you are an editor without an animation portfolio, this may not be the job for you. While you need to have a finishing editor skillset, there are plenty of small projects where you see the edit from start to finish. We work often on corporate, marketing, and docu-style work. ABOUT PACK FILMS Pack Films is a boutique video production company based in Nashville, TN. We strive to make each project as great as it can be, and build relationships with clients who care just as much as we do. We work with marketing agencies as well as directly with brands and businesses to deliver exceptional video. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Design and animate high-end motion graphics Ability to generate strong design layouts, often influenced by client brand guidelines Expert eye for color grading Creative editing with effects and transitions for tone and feel Skill in implementing sound effects and sound design Professional communication with clients about feedback, timelines, and revisions Able to work quickly, independently, and still deliver great work Collaborate with others on the team Build and strengthen workflows for post Keep the edit team meeting and tracking deadlines IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE 6 years of experience in high-end motion graphics and editing Design instincts with a sharp eye for typography and layout Excellent ability to edit stories Picky eye for details Great communication skills Ability to take a project from “almost there” to “this is it” Proficiency in the Adobe Suite – expert-level in Premiere, After Effects, and Illustrator THE POSITION This is a full-time position with pay dependent on portfolio and experience.
