Payments - AI Transformation Project Manager - Vice President

The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) team for Global Banking and Payments is responsible for the strategy, governance, architecture, and delivery of data and analytics solutions for Corporate Investment Banking and Payments businesses. We are focused on harnessing data to drive innovation and growth, unlocking client value, and positioning the franchise to lead in a rapidly evolving AI-enabled landscape. As a Project Manager in the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) team, you will be responsible for managing key Payments AI transformation initiatives across the group. You will lead the delivery of new and enhanced products, solutions, operating models and processes aligned to data across the Firm. You will project manage these initiatives from initiation through to completion, including planning, governance and delivery co-ordination with Product and Technology teams as well as other relevant firmwide groups.This position will play a crucial role in the evolution of the Firm’s payments products to meet the challenges and opportunities presented by the advent of novel AI solutions.Job ResponsibilitiesLead strategic change projects end-to-end from initiation through to delivery, ensuring adherence to required timelines, budgets, and quality standardsPartner with Product and Technology teams along with other relevant firmwide groups, to oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of strategic solutionsDevelop and communicate the project roadmap and priorities to key stakeholders and senior managementEstablish appropriate governance to oversee delivery of the project roadmap, ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement and alignment throughoutManage cross-functional teams across the firm and drive accountability with Lines of Businesses, Corporate Functions and firmwide stakeholders to deliver expected outcomesDesign and track appropriate project success measures and metrics aligned to organizational goals, and communicate progress on these to stakeholdersIdentify and manage emerging project risks, issues and dependencies - proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain momentumEnsure project data is correctly represented in the appropriate systems of recordDevelop and maintain deep relationships with stakeholders across the firmLead high performing cross functional teams and effectively drive these teams towards delivery milestonesRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsStrong industry experience Experience with using AI toolsExperience managing strategic change for business products Demonstrated ability to manage the delivery of complex change projectsAbility to build consensus and deliver projects in a highly collaborative, cross-functional and matrixed environmentAbility to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of functionsExcellent leadership skills – of projects and delivery teams/squads Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex ideas / challenges effectivelyStrong agile delivery experience in a productized environmentPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsA product delivery and/or data and analytics background Experience and technical knowledge of AI, payments, data platforms, cloud BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in Technology, Data Science, Engineering or other related area JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
