About the Position

Neonatology locums coverage in South Carolina with a 24 hour shift model that combines in house Level II NICU care with telehealth rounding across three additional facilities.

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient neonatal care.
• Coverage includes a Level II NICU plus telehealth rounding at three facilities, two Level II and one Level I.
• APP support onsite 20/7.
• Patient population is neonatal.

Schedule

• 7 to 10 shifts per month.
• 24 hour shifts, typically 8 to 10 hours in house with the remainder as beeper call.
• Beeper call with a 30 minute response time, on call for the duration of the shift.

Cases and Procedures

• In person neonatal care at the Level II NICU.
• Telehealth rounding at three facilities, two Level II and one Level I.

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Board Certified in Neonatology.
• Active license required, will not wait for license.
• BLS, DEA, and EPIC experience required.
