Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Navarre OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As a Screener in a manufacturing and industrial location you will help maintain a welcoming controlled environment by screening visitors monitoring access points verifying credentials and communicating professionally with employees and guests. You will support security-related operations through attention to detail teamwork and integrity while helping to deter incidents. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors drivers and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees visitors contractors and deliveries entering the location by verifying identification access authorization and required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry points visitor logs and delivery activity; report access concerns suspicious activity and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas including entrances loading areas parking locations and the business perimeter and document observations and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
