Location: Oglesby, IL
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time, Monday–Friday
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour

Position Overview: 

John's Service & Sales, Inc. is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Administrative Assistant to support our daily office operations. This position is ideal for someone with good communication skills, good computer knowledge, and a positive attitude who is willing to learn.

No previous experience is necessary! We are looking for someone who is comfortable answering phones, assisting customers, handling basic computer tasks, and helping keep the office organized. Training will be provided to help the right candidate succeed.

We offer both full-time and part-time scheduling options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner

• Respond to customer questions and direct inquiries as needed

• Send and respond to emails

• Enter and update information in computer systems and spreadsheets

• Assist with filing, organizing paperwork, and maintaining office records

• Use Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and other basic computer programs

• Help maintain an organized and efficient office environment

• Provide general administrative support to the team

• Complete other basic office duties as needed

Qualifications: 

• Previous office or administrative experience is a plus, but not required

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn new programs

• Comfortable using email and learning office software

• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

• Friendly and professional phone manner

• Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Schedule Options: 

Full-Time:

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

• 40 hours per week

Part-Time:

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM

• 25 hours per week

Compensation & Benefits: 

• Pay up to $18.00 per hour
