Assistant Project Manager | Luxury Developer | NYC Development Project

A successful Manhattan based developer with a focus on large-scale multi-family projects is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their dynamic team of professionals. In this role, the APM will work with the construction and accounting teams to manage several projects throughout Manhattan. Candidates should possess at least 3 years in construction management with experience in large ground up and/or renovation projects.

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Assist in managing design, development and construction documents
\n
• Coordinate with Project Manager and site superintendent
\n
• Manage the permitting process from initial approvals to final Certificate of Occupancy
\n
• Assist in coordination of consultants, meetings and drawings
\n
• Perform take-offs, leveling construction bids and manage award process
\n
• Develop project budgets and project schedule tasks and deadlines.
\n
• Interface with other members of team to ensure accuracy with outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
\n
• Maintain daily logs. Track and report on project milestones and provide reports to management.
\n
• Maintain project tracking spreadsheet.
\n
• Ensure all project documents are stored and tracked on a timely basis.
\n
• Attend meetings and produce meeting minutes.
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• 3+ years of project management experience
\n
• Experience with Procore, Excel and/or Bluebeam are a plus.
\n
• Must be able to read construction and shop drawings
\n
• Construction administration experience is a must.
\n
• Must be able to work in a fast paced/entrepreneurial environment
\n
• Strong written and oral communication skills
\n

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000

\n

\n
