EXPERIENCED CNC PRESS BRAKE SET-UP OPERATOR

Minimum of five (5) years of CNC press brake setup experience is desired.
This is not an entry-level role. We are seeking a highly skilled operator who can independently program, set up, and run CNC press brakes with minimal supervision.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Calculate programming inputs for the controller
- Select proper tooling
- Complete full machine setup independently
- Plan and execute bending sequences efficiently and accurately
Strong mathematical ability is essential. Candidates must possess excellent math skills , including geometry or higher-level math proficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and understand detailed drawings and production routers
- Perform precise mathematical calculations related to bend deductions, angles, and layouts
- Plan sequence of operations based on part requirements
- Select and position correct flats, V-blocks, radius, and special-purpose die sets
- Program CNC controller to produce accurate bends
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers and tape measures (standard and metric)
- Maintain quality standards in compliance with company policies and specifications
- Update computer records and production documentation
- Perform required preventative maintenance on press brakes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform additional duties as assigned
