Duration: 24+ Months (with high possibility of extension in FY)

Location: Austin, Texas (Onsite)

Job Description

Performs advanced (senior-level) computer programming work. Work involves planning, analyzing, scheduling, coordinating and implementing programming projects; as well as providing technical assistance. This includes analysis, design, coding, testing, documenting, and implementing applications to support the various functional areas of the Texas Lottery & Charitable Bingo. Works in a manner that exemplifies and supports the agency's core values of integrity, responsibility, innovation, fiscal accountability, customer responsiveness, teamwork, and excellence.

Minimum Requirements:

Years-Required/Preferred-Experience

• 8-Required-SQL or PL/SQL
• 8-Required-software version control experience
• 8-Required-developing and maintaining secure .NET public websites
• 8-Required-C#, ASP.NET (minimum 2 years .NET 8.0 and higher)
• 8-Required-HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• 8-Required-developing system documentation
• 1-Preferred-• Developing and maintaining Python batch scripts
• 1-Preferred-• Experience with Agile methodology
• 1-Preferred-• Experience with Syncfusion and Bold Reports for rich UI/UX development and reporting
• 1-Preferred-• Experience integrating with Google and Apple authentication systems
• 1-Preferred-• Experience with .NET LINQ (Language Integrated Query)
• 1-Preferred-• Experience developing Java applications
• 1-Preferred-• Knowledge of Charitable Bingo Rules and Regulations
• 1-Preferred-• Knowledge of interfaces and data exchange standards between software applications
