Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:00–16:30) | Every 4th Weekend Required | 40 Hours Guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy assistant services in a general acute care setting, including medical, surgical, orthopedic, neurological, neurosurgical, cardiac, and critical care units
• Support patient rehabilitation within an Acute Rehab Facility, with an average patient length of stay of approximately two weeks
• Assist in the treatment and functional recovery of a high volume of stroke patients within the acute rehab setting
• Carry out individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary care team

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota COTA license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy assistant experience
• Acute care experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must complete Minnesota Livescan fingerprinting in person within 48 hours of contract signing
• Traveler's primary residence must be at least 25 miles from the assignment location

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with stroke and neurological patient populations
• Prior travel therapy assignment experience
