What You Will Be Responsible For

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions with the support of physicians or independently (pending your certifications)
• Teaching patients and their families about prevention methods, wellness practices, and managing health conditions
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your area of practice
• Involving in patient follow-ups and chronic care coordination
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide cohesive, comprehensive care
• Accurately documenting patient interactions and care in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Necessary Licenses and Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or another specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire within 90 days)
