Litigation Attorney (Shareholder / LLC)

Role Overview

Apply shareholder and LLC litigation expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world legal analysis and drafting. This remote contract role focuses on commercial disputes involving owners and entities. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery materials for evolving commercial-dispute scenarios under senior direction.
• Develop and update case theories and litigation strategies as facts and instructions emerge across multiple assignments.
• Define evaluation criteria for strong, effective legal responses at each stage.
• Incorporate senior feedback efficiently and refine submissions to a high standard.
• Flag ambiguities, missing information, and procedural obstacles for senior contributors or project leads to resolve.
• Use only public or synthetic case materials while maintaining confidentiality and sound legal practices.
• Produce deliverables that reflect real-world litigation assignments prepared for supervising-partner review.

Qualifications

• Current or previous bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 3 years of direct post-JD litigation experience, including hands-on drafting, discovery, and motion practice.
• Specialized experience in shareholder and LLC disputes, including owner-to-owner or owner-to-entity matters involving fiduciary duty, oppression, buyouts, and governance issues.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work product in shareholder and LLC dispute matters.
• Exceptional written English, legal drafting, and legal argumentation skills.
• Ability to quickly synthesize direction and feedback while maintaining quality in complex litigation scenarios.
• Federal court experience, work across multiple matter types, or prior AI training or evaluation experience is beneficial.

Work Terms

• Remote, U.S.-based independent contractor engagement.
• Applicants should be ready to begin promptly. Roles are typically filled within 48 hours.
• Selected candidates are expected to begin initial tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing the required onboarding steps.

Compensation

$100 to $150 per hour.
