Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough psychosocial assessments to identify and evaluate students' emotional, social, and behavioral needs, utilizing both standardized measures and observational tools.
• Engage in direct assessment of mental health needs through structured interviews and ongoing dialogue with students to monitor their progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and social adjustment challenges, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Facilitate group counseling sessions that emphasize critical topics such as bullying prevention, coping strategies, stress management, and the development of social skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and school administration to formulate effective behavioral interventions, ensuring a coordinated approach to student support.
• Assist students in transition planning and guide them in accessing community resources to address their specific needs.
• Provide prompt crisis intervention and conduct risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of students during emergencies.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops for students, parents, and staff, focused on topics essential to the school community’s mental health and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits
