Responsibilities:

• Lead critical monthly accounting activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and supporting a timely close process.

• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger by reviewing financial transactions, researching discrepancies, and ensuring proper documentation.

• Perform inventory and fixed asset accounting tasks, including analysis, tracking, and reconciliation to support reliable financial records.

• Assist with audit preparation by organizing schedules, supporting requested documentation, and helping maintain compliance with internal and external reporting needs.

• Contribute to financial planning efforts through participation in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of operating results.

• Support costing-related activities in a standard cost or job cost environment, helping monitor financial performance and reporting accuracy.

• Coordinate with external financial partners such as auditors and banking contacts when needed to support accounting operations.

• Collaborate with the broader accounting and finance team to improve reporting quality, strengthen processes, and support business objectiv

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong background in corporate accounting environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of month-end close procedures, general ledger accounting, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience working with inventory analysis, fixed assets, and audit support activities.
• Exposure to manufacturing accounting is preferred.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, or costing processes is an advantage.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and sound judgment, along with a high standard of personal integrity.
• Experience with Eclipse (Epicor) or comparable accounting software is helpful.
