Here, you will make an impact by:Leads Ownership of 3M’s E/E Technology & Solution Roadmap. Turn industry trends into 3M end-to-end E/E architecture solutions by shifting customer engagement toward system-level problem solving vs. product selectionImplements modular, platform-based EE architecture 3M solutions that enable reuse across customers, regions, and product lines.Determines white spaces including Future E/E architecture concepts tied to Pre-RFQ and platform definitionSupports business by driving R&D investment priorities including Technology incubation and seeding through M&A or partnership needs and opportunities (where gaps exist) to deliver first to market concepts and unlocking new revenue opportunities for 3M*LIYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (completed and verified before start)Ten (10) years' experience in end-to-end solutions architecture with customer engagement experience in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master’s degree highly desired15+ years of customer engagement experience to drive business opportunitiesSkills include deep EE architecture knowledge especially in automotive, customer presentation, business acumen, product portfolio understandingWork location: Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Livonia, MI.Travel: May include up to 20% globalRelocation: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
