This role sits within the Government Programs Actuarial practice and supports Medicare and Medicaid payer clients through actuarial consulting, analytics, forecasting, pricing and strategic advisory services.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Lead actuarial analyses supporting Medicare Advantage, Part D, and Risk Adjustment programsDevelop rates, forecasts, pricing models and financial analyses for client engagementsDesign and execute complex data programs, actuarial models and risk score analysesPartner with clients to deliver consulting recommendations and business insightsProvide guidance, mentoring and work direction to actuarial analysts on project teamsSupport cross-functional engagements involving ACA, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and related healthcare programsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree4+ completed actuarial examinations and active participation on the actuarial exam track3+ years of actuarial experienceDemonstrated experience building and interpreting actuarial models and financial analysesPreferred Qualifications:3+ years of experience leading projects or providing work direction to team membersConsulting experience supporting external clientsExperience with Medicare Bid submissions or Medicaid rate reviewASA or FSA designationSkills and CompetenciesActuarial modelingHealthcare analyticsMedicare Advantage and Part D knowledgeClient consulting and presentation skillsLeadership and collaborationAdvanced quantitative problem solvingWork Location / ScheduleRemote within the United States.
