Warehouse Operator Forklift

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Wilmington, Illinois. The role offers competitive pay, weekly wage, and a full benefits package. Pay & Benefits Base Pay: $18.50 per hour Hourly increases: $0.25 at 90 and 180 days, 3% after 1 year Overtime Pay: $27.75 per hour Productivity Incentives: up to $6 per hour Sign‑On Bonus: $1,000 in two installments (30 and 90 days) Weekly pay schedule Paid training and support Health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match starting 30 days Paid time off and safety gear provided 15% employee discount on company stock and various products Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred At least one year of warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred Valid Forklift Operator's License Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse environment High degree of initiative, accuracy, and meticulousness Reliable attendance and punctuality Physical ability to lift or move up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods Commitment to health and safety procedures and a flexible schedule Responsibilities Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting Maintain accurate picking, packing, auditing, and staging of products Handle documentation: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc. Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours Adhere to performance measurement guidelines and complete other duties as assigned Some positions may require additional screening, including employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle record checks, a road test, and background checks.
