IT Support Associate

Salary: $55,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements:

• We bring comprehensive hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing end-user devices such as laptops, desktops, tablets, and specialized equipment.
• We have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Google Workspace, Cisco Meraki, and preferably Cisco phone systems.
• We can translate complex technical findings into clear, user-friendly guidance for non-technical staff.
• We are highly organized, able to prioritize independently, manage field dispatch schedules, and complete hardware inventories across multiple sites.
• We are committed to compliance with technical standards, IT security protocols, and data privacy requirements.
• We maintain a professional demeanor and a customer-focused approach when handling urgent or unpredictable technology issues.

• We provide technical support for hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and related technology across workstations and network equipment.
• We investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve support tickets involving hardware failures, operating system errors, and software issues, documenting and escalating when needed.
• We fix connectivity and integration problems for network peripherals such as printers, copiers, scanners, and other dealership equipment.
• We deliver onsite and remote support at dealership and office locations based on issue severity.
• We configure and troubleshoot routers, managed switches, wireless connections, and secure remote access tools.
• We administer user accounts, email, system access, and security permissions across platforms including Microsoft Active Directory, Google Workspace, Tekion, Reynolds & Reynolds, and manufacturer websites.
• We support basic LAN structures and assist with network connectivity troubleshooting.
• We run, diagnose, and repair physical network wiring and data lines.
• We coordinate the setup, configuration, and physical distribution of new or reassigned technology.
• We perform regular physical and digital hardware and software inventory updates to verify licensing compliance and equipment status.
• We carry out routine break/fix repairs for items such as displays, batteries, keyboards, and internal components.
• We assist with technology implementations, system upgrades, testing, and maintenance activities.
• We coordinate with vendors and third-party providers to resolve technical issues.
• We log, prioritize, track, and close incidents in Zendesk while meeting service level expectations.
• We document problems and resolutions thoroughly to support long-term trend analysis.
• We participate in an on-call rotation for critical system alerts as needed.
• We escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams or external vendors.
• We follow established IT strategy, procurement rules, data security regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• We complete additional duties assigned by our Chief Information Officer.

This position combines day-to-day technical support with long-term systems reliability, helping keep our technology infrastructure running smoothly across our dealership and office locations.
