Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories, performing standardized assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Communicate assessment findings and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting for their rehabilitation journey. Implement evidence-based treatment protocols based on evaluation results and ongoing patient assessments, adapting strategies as necessary to align with the latest trends in healthcare. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, identifying any changes in patient conditions that may necessitate adjustments in care plans or additional medical consultations. Manage all aspects of patient discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progression notes to facilitate continuity of care. Exhibit effective time management abilities, maintaining an organized and accurate schedule while fulfilling productivity expectations. Engage in hospital and community marketing initiatives to promote the clinic's services, enhancing community awareness and patient access. Contribute to departmental goals by participating in quality improvement initiatives and complying with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements. Commit to ongoing professional development, pursuing continuing education opportunities, and serving as a clinical instructor for upcoming professionals in the field. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including patients recovering from surgeries, those managing chronic conditions, and individuals seeking rehabilitation after injuries. Our clinic focuses on implementing personalized treatment plans that consider the unique lifestyles, preferences, and goals of each patient, fostering an environment conducive to recovery and maintaining independence. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida is mandatory. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is required. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient physical therapy is desired, though new graduates with relevant clinical internships may also be considered. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
