ETL Data Engineer

Data Engineer
Requirement/Must Have:
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of retail and eCommerce domain.
- Strong experience with ETL/ELT processes and data transformation.
- Experience designing and developing end-to-end data pipelines.
- Experience building and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines on Azure.
- Strong SQL skills for data transformation, validation, and analytics.
- Experience designing and implementing data warehouse solutions and data models.
- Experience supporting analytics and reporting platforms such as Power BI.
- Experience handling structured and unstructured data ingestion at scale.
- Experience with orchestration, automation, and monitoring of data pipelines.
- Experience working in agile SCRUM environments.
- Experience participating in code reviews and maintaining coding standards.
Responsibilities:
- Implement data ingestion pipelines from diverse data sources.
- Develop data aggregation pipelines to support analytics and reporting solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Develop and maintain cloud-based data pipelines on Azure.
- Design and implement data warehouse and data modeling solutions for analytical use cases.
- Ensure code quality through documentation, peer reviews, and adherence to standards.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including refinement, planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and define acceptance criteria.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Communicate proposed solutions and technical challenges to management.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the data ecosystem.
