seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager to join its growing land development team in Orlando. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple civil engineering projects from initial concept and due diligence through permitting, construction plans, and construction certification.

The ideal candidate has strong residential land development and master-planned community experience, a demonstrated history of successfully managing projects and teams, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and development partners.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple civil engineering and land development projects from concept through construction certification.
• Lead residential and master-planned community projects, with experience in commercial, industrial, or municipal development also considered.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, fee proposals, and project timelines.
• Coordinate due diligence activities and evaluate the development potential of residential and commercial properties.
• Work closely with planning professionals to develop concepts for proposed developments.
• Lead and coordinate internal engineering teams responsible for preparing and processing construction plans.
• Coordinate project approvals with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
• Work with construction inspection personnel to support timely completion and certification of projects.
• Monitor project financial performance, including invoicing, profitability, and accounts receivable.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding project progress, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Participate in networking, marketing, proposal development, and business development activities.
• Mentor, develop, and support junior and mid-level staff.

Assist with recruiting and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Florida PE license strongly preferred/required.
• EIT candidates may be considered when their experience demonstrates the required project management and leadership capabilities.
• Approximately 5-10+ years of civil engineering/project management experience.
• Strong experience with land development, particularly residential development.
• Master-planned community experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating multidisciplinary project resources.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience with proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and project budgets.
• Understanding of project financial management and profitability.
• Business development and client relationship-building experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
